SOURCE: vax 2400 perfomance pet overheating??

take it in to get looked at! it could be a elec. short which might cause an accident(ie. fire, shocking, explode....)

SOURCE: vax 2400 performance pet overheating

Unfortunately there is no permanent solution.It is a terrible vacuum cleaner and im getting rid of mine today. I have been maintaining it for 6 months cleaning filters , swapping filters, swapping carbon brushes all to no avail.Dump it. it would'nt **** the air out of a balloon.

How do I know which way round the carpet control works on power vx pet

I don't have one of these but normally the hard floor surface will have a brush around an edge or all the way around in contact with the floor, and for carpet you will just have the normal rotating brush. The rotating brush is always there.

If you make sure that the roller is clear you just press the button near the left wheel that says 'Brushbar reset'. This worked with mine straight away. :)
