The easiest way to do this without affecting the other computers is to access the Netgear interface and place your computer in the DMZ. You will probably need to know the IP Address of your computer, I cannot be more specific without knowing the exact model number of the Netgear.

we access net throug lan the hub is d-link our isp is reliance broad band i dont know where will the net gear router or hub be attached to find its model no or where will the admin password be can u pls asume me a dum head and give a step by step process for it
With which application are you trying to pull the movies with ?
The Netgear requires an admin password to change settings. It might be that the downloading port is closed.
What is the Netgera model ?
