Most of the time when this happens it means there is problems with the data saved already to your hard drive from the game. The bad thing is the way to fix it is to delete all data saved for that game as well all updates for it and reboot your ps3 then put the disk back in and start over....

Could possibly be of overheating feel your temerature of your ps3 top side if its in vertical position if its roasting theres your problem if not reformat your whole ps3 i would recommend using a usb to get your game saves

to set up your internet connection, find the network settings on settings menu on XMB, choose 'setup internet connection' or something like this, then follow the guide on screen .

you have lack of signal strength. I you are using a wireless router, try disconnecting it and using a wired connection. If not go to testmyspeed.com and run the test. If you are in the 256kbps range or higher then you have a hardware issue. another tip: when using online multiplayer back out and go to the main menu and then back to multiplayer.(this reconnects you to the server)
