I got an imate JAM PDA from a friend and he was not using it for a long time. Because I don't have the AC charger, I charged it with a USB cable connected to my PC for almost 1.5 day. I tried to switch on the device it gives no answer at all, when I click the power button I just hear a small ticking from the back.
I tried several time to do the reset by pressing power button and putting the stylus inside the hole near to charging connector, but without any hopes.
Please help me !

look sir,
the operating system should be installed from your PC not from the i-mate
so you will have to do the following:
A- install microsoft activsync to connect the i-mate to the PC
B- download the windows 6 file
C- connect the i-mate to the PC then open the windows 6 file by double click it , it will guide you to instll the operating system on your device
note:
windows 6 mobile will not properlly work on i-mate jam you will find a problem when you use it,
so my advice is to install the 2003 CE and install all it's updates this will be batter than that

started charging it by usb on laptop, and now it turns on but can only use it for 5 mins and then the light either stays on or goes off and won't come bak on again and everytime i go to use it i have to take the back off and put it bak on agen just to do that.
