My samsung tv is flashing different colours

Your TV has gone into service mode now and the colours that are showing up on the TV screen is a test pattern.To stop that yo need to unplug the TV from the power outlet and the wall and hold down the power button for 20 seconds.

I believe you may have defective capacitors on your power supply module. Many times you will find the capacitor has either popped it's top or top has swollen from the capacitor heating due to value changing.

Your Funai Emerson TVs' video output section has damaged. You yourself can do nothi in it, as there must be sophisticated testing equipments to test and detect the reason for this problem. A common man can't afford its cost. So I advice you to get it repaired by some experienced service personal, who owns oscilliscope, colour scanner, signal generator, colour analizer and so on. In short, you have to rely on a well wquipped service center to get it repaired. OK.

This problems will not be solved by a remote control.Ur tv Tuner board is dead.Take it to the shop they will order a refurbish the Main Tuner signal board for u and replaced it.It will cost about half the price of the new tv.

your lcd is in test mode. you may try off the power. press and hold menu + source + power on.

this should go back to normal mode.

i have 3 hannspree monitors 2 were sent back for repair i replacement was faulty when i got it back the other one changes flashing colours never again i tried turning the brightness to full which helped for a time

I had a similar problem on a different monitor and fixed the green sparkles by selecting a lower refresh rate.
