I tried to turn on the tv with the remote, but it didnt work, i pushed the power buttonn the tv and it turned on but instead of getting anythings. it just flashed colors,red to green,to blue to yellow to white to grey etc to row i could not change any inputs or get the menu to show up. it would just flash a color on the entire screen for a couple of seconds and switch to a different color
If you have a reset button (might be hidden)...hit dat
this is a demo screen you have somehow enabled. You can turn that off by, turn off tv at power button, then hold down the menu and enter key on top of the tv, then turn power button back on and while still holding down the menu and enter buttons on the TV, then turn on the power/standby button on the front centre of the tv and then lastly release the enter and menu buttons. That should fix it.

I can turn on my viewsonic TV but then the remote doesn't work, I only can change the volume, and the TV is on VGA mode, so I can't switch it back to HDMI. I even don't find any reset button.
exactly the same problem... help! i can't find the reset button... i'm pretty sure that there isn't one on it.
I have the same problem, got when Comcast techs were trying to hook up the component video.
Ugh. I think it's a loop that a factory reset would fix but I can't find info ANYWHERE about how to perform one.
I have exactly the same problem, the last thing i did what played my xbox360 and turn it off last night turn tv on this morning got these colors . I hope there some sort of resolution somewhere.
