How to connect internet without lan driver in xp

you go to ibm official site www.ibm.co.in & search drivers.if is not working then perches one LAN card & install it.

Hello there.

In order for you to be able to use your internet connection again, you need to reinstall your LAN card (Network Adapter). You didn't mention the brand and model of your LAN card.

Go to Control Panel / Device Manager / Network Adapters and check if it is installed there properly. If it has errors update it's drivers. If you can't find it there, search your system for New Hardware or Scan hardware changes.

Hi, Can You please more details in regard to this problem... I am assuming that you reformat you Pc and you might not have lan Ethernet driver. Or the Lan is disable... To chek click start,click control panel network and internet connection if your OS is windows vista / windows 7 click connect to network .Xp network connection and find out if have lan connection if the page is blank you need a ethernet driver. After reinstalling your xp, the next thing to do is install the drivers of your motherboard. the drivers include lan card and sound card drivers. The lan card needs to work so you can explore the internet.. while the sound card needs to work so there will be sounds on your speaker.

If you don't have the drivers,, I can help you get one just tell me the model of your motherboard. and or sound card and lan card..

you need to download the driver for your lan card. If the LAN card came with your computer, go to the computer manufacturer website to get the driver

You need to do the following.

Click here to open Asus download page.

On box select product put 'Motherboard'

On box select type scroll down the menu and put Socket775

On Box model scroll down and find P5GC-MX/1333

Select the Operative System and download driver from list.

You need to access a computer that is connected to the Internet, (try going to a friend or work mate or nternet cafe etc.)

Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows XP audio driver for your model laptop,

Copy the downloaded files and install them on your computer.
