this thing is very very old. most are in the land fill ,
15 years old.
try the coin cell trick yet, Pulled and big battery out first.
both batteries out. and AC pack fulled
push power button 10seconds or 3 times for 3 secends.
let PC reset for 1 your.
back COIN , then AC pack and leave the useless or WORSE
antic huge battery out of PC and test the PC now.
if that fails, try, same words you used on YT (youtube)

You should try connecting an external monitor. If it shows nothing at all or a scrambled image or it does load to Windows but won't let you change the resolution or the color space, your graphics chip most probably got overheated and de-soldered itself. There is no easy fix. This would involve taking the laptop apart and either heating the GPU (which would end up being a temporary fix) or sending of the motherboard to professionals who specialize in GPU re-soldering.

\Clean Windows Registry :
Defragment your PC to increase computer speed:
Add more RAM to Speed up your computer
Clear Cache, history and temporary internet files
Turn off unnecessary programs from start up:
Have low intensity graphics
Uninstall unused software and programs
Please remember to clean Windows registry using registry cleaner reg in out

Try FN blue button normally down in the lower left corner of the keyboard and arrow up key or it looks like a blue light up. Push both of these keys at the same time to see if this increases the brightness back up.

Try a power adapter with more amperage. When you connect a dock, the 3 amp adapter that comes with IBM laptops will not have enough power for lots of add-ons. You'll need the 4 amp adapter.

do not open or change bios settings if you don't know what your doing. I have seen make people screw up computers and then bring them to me to fix the issues they have caused

Just go the site of your Laptop manufacture. Once there enter the model number or service tag number of the laptop then request driver (usually found in the web site's "Support Section"). There you should be able to find all the drivers for your model laptopIf it didn't helps you then simply get the system utility program like PC Fresher that will fix windows errors that cause of drivers issue
