Everytime i get an incoming call my phone rings, but as soon as i go to answer it i can hear nothing.when i try to make a call out it connects to whomever im calling but i still hear nothing.

Sometimes there might just be lint or something in the headset port. Try taking some canned air and blow it out or take a headset and plug it in and out a few times.

This just happen to me 45 seconds ago what you do is put the phone on the charger and make a call to your self or voice mail and then you unplug the charger and hit your speaker or try and hit your speaker button while its on charger then unplug one or the other. this is what i did to fix this problem

LG Chocolate is the worst phone EVER! i've already self-fixed two problems, and now a new problem that i cannot make phone calls / receive them (they do actually go through but i can't hear anything). someone please tell me how to fix this....

If you look in the bottom of the phone (where the charger plugs in) you will most likely see that at least 2 of the far right pins are bent over or bent to the side. This happened on my wifes phone. I found that if I took the data cable and plugged it into the phone on one end and nothing on the other, it would work. She is taking it to get a warranty replacement tomorrow.
When you plug the data cable in, you should here all of your normal sounds etc. It might trigger the voice command thing, but it usually only does it once.
