BALLAS BOARD NOT POWERING FAN SO TV GOES OFF ..hOW CAN I FIX IT

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary. //

Check the ballast board. It is the one that has the wires going directly to the bulb socket.

This is not a user repairable fault. Should be checked from its main power regulator board, and is a skilled work. Actually this is a repairable fault, but can do only by any technicain.

Bad power supply board.

Did you check the caps on the power board when you had it out?

Your not alone with this problem.
I had to fix mine. The warranty is less than impressive.
The trouble is going to be the Power Supply/Backlight Inverter board.

This is board # BA71F0F01042. Replacement boards are hard to come by.
Fixing the board like I did seem to be the only option. If you need info on fixing it, let me know.

i would try new lamp or ballast since you have 250v from pwr sup

reheat the board.....this could happen that the tv board will get heat after a few minutes then the loosen suspected part will totaly open.
