Im recommending you collect samples of your back pieces you're supposed to connect and visit your local hardware stare. Ask somebody in plumbing to help with the couplings and fittings to secure the connection for the water pressure. Id recommend getting a pressure regulator valve as well.
Did you ever get an answer that was correct? I'm having the same problem and can't find a solution.
Do you have a pressure reducing valve fitted? The pressure could be too high, or incorrect fittings may have been used to connect it to the fridge.
SOURCE: Ice maker not working
If your ice maker has stopped producing ice completely, check these, in this order:
In either case, the ice maker should begin producing ice again. Also make sure that the temperature is 8 degrees Fahrenheit or lower. If the freezer is too warm, the ice maker won't cycle properly.

Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then
try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell
you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.

all is normal with the defrost heater getting red hot.
as far as the inlet tube freezing, you most likely need a new water inlet valve. it may not be closing all the way and water is slowly dripping into the icemaker and freezing up right away. a new valve should fix your issue. here is the part that you need. http://www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?s=t-TFH27PRSA-%3d%3di1032629&PartID=1032629
