TB x12 Wiring Help

Technically there are 3 wires needed for audio for the ears. Left, Right, and ground, Then you can add the microphone wires and they are audio and ground. The grounds can be combined. It is rare for the speakers to be disconnected inside the speaker housing. The most common place for the failure is in the cable. Especially at the connections that are stressed. Without a meter or a test light it would be hard to diagnose these.

How to splice X12 turtle beaches back together

Oh guys, Sorry, here is my solution. Once broken, you can't fix 'em. I myself own TB X12, and I tried splicing out the damaged area, only to learn the wire is a fiber optic cord. Unfixable. Freaking sucks, cause I don't got the money to replace 'em...

My turtle beach headset doesnt work in my turbo fire 2 controller.

Unfortunately Turtle Beach made and tested their headsets with only the official Microsoft brand Xbox 360 controllers and therefore their headsets actually aren't compatible with all types of third party controllers. The Turbo Fire 2 is one of the controllers that the Turtle Beach headsets are not compatible with.

Hopefully this helped!

How to repair a turtle beach headset broken wire

Hey
Never thought i would see a problem i have come across :)

Now this requires very precise soldering and cable management as each wire is tiny.
Use a multimetre to find out what wire connects to what part of each connector.

However i still think the easier way is to just get a new wire off ebay.

My beach turtle head set wires got pulled from the volume control switch i need to know where they go to put them back

You would have to re-solder those on. Your best bet is to just purchase another headset because you will likely screw up the amplifier if you try and open it up. You can get factory recertified X1's on Turtle Beach's website for only $39. http://www.turtlebeach.com/X1certified/tabid/620/Default.aspx

Dog chewed through Turtle Beach X1 wire any advice on fixing??

Your best long term fix will be to solder the wires together then tape them individually and finally tape the whole thing. Second choice will be to use crimp (**** splice) connections and then tape. Last choice will be just twisting stripped wires together and tape everything.
