No power to the monitor

Same problem. I bought two of the LG flatron monitors for my office and both of them have stopped working for no apparent reason. The monitors were working fine one day and then suddenly they woukld not power on. The first on stopped working about a two months ago and now the other is doing the same thing. It acts as if there is no power to the monitor. It will not power on. Does anyone have any suggestions other than never ever buy another LG product. Thank you. Same problem. I have the same problem with an LG flatron 19" LCD monitor. Turned the computer on and went to do something else. When I came back to log into windows there was no power to the monitor (no power light on). I've tried different power cords, but nothing changed.

Same problem. Suddenly, no power to the monitor. No lights, nothing. Pressing the power button produces no response. I tried switching power cords, still no power. The outlet does work with other devices, so there is power coming out of the outlet. This monitor is only 1 year old. Same problem. Suddenly, no power to the monitor. No lights, nothing. Turned off computer for a few hours (not Monitor) and when I booted back up , no monitor no power light etc. Changed cord and still nothing. DUH What happened ? I'm trying to determine if my 1 year warranty is up otherwise it looks like I will be buying a new LCD but not from LG. I shut my computer down and turned the monitor off last night. Got up this morning and I can't power the monitor on. Everything else works just fine so I know there wasn't a power surge.
