Hanns.G Corporation HX191DP LCD Monitor Questions & Answers
I have Hanns G 22" lcd monitor. Would like to know
Best guess, since they all seem to be different as i have access to two Hanns brand monitors and both are a different size, its most likely a 4, 5, or 6mm. The only way to find out for sure is get some screws and try it, just pay attention to the length, too long and it might not tighten up or damage something internally. They are usually pretty short, looking at the ones i have i would say the screws are maybe 8mm in length max.

Hanns g 19 inch monitor
No direct experience of this specific monitor, but LCD monitors in general seem to be susceptible to power supply failure due to the relatively cheap capacitors they use and the high working temperatures.
Turn it off, leave it for an hour or two, then take off the cover and look for bulged or leaking cap's on the power supply board. If the tops are not flat, they're probably duff, and need replacing with equivalent spec ones. Probably 105'C high temp - I got 105'C 470uF 35V ones for my monitor from Ebay at about a fiver for a pack of ten.

Hi,
Most LCDs would work even in the absence of a specific driver. It would follow whatever settings you have set your computers displays to be (as long as within capacity). So as long as it works, you are good.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Keeps coming up with main menu
Fisrt thing to check is the monitor screen button.
if you clean your monitor there is chance that cleaning solution got inside the button and then even if you dont push on it, it does get a signal from the liquid trapped inside. you can try drying the solution with a hair dryer, but if the liquid leave a dry conductor inside the button this will be still there. the other option is to tear appart the monitor and unplug the button or manually try to clean the contact inside.
if you did not cleaned it, the menu button might simply be stuck in.
trying to release it can fix this.
