Hi.My problem is that I let my 19 year old daughter borrow my camera & now it doesn't work. When I turn it on after charging it, the green light goes on, the lens comes out but then nothing else happens. Nothing appears on the viewing screen(?), it is totally blank. Or should I say black. My daughter says that she did not drop it yet it doesn't work. Please help me if you can. Thank you
Nothing shows in the viewing screen of my Casio EX-S60, evreything is dark/black, and when trying to capture image, it appears underexposure... and when im tried the video, all i can hear is the sound..
I have a casio exilim for just under 2 years. It goes blank when I am
using the camera. The play back is still working. The zoom feature
is also working.

I had something like this occur with a minot mini video camera only it locked up in the "On" setting, meaning I could see a display on the screen but could not turn it off. I suggest you look very closely for a reset hole at the bottom somewhere, a place where a safety pin or the straightened end of a paper clip could be inserted. If no Reset can be found, then try holding in the Power On/Off for as long as 90 seconds. This may clear the problem. I would also suspect no power due to low charge or no charge on the battery, battery installed incorrectly, or battery not charged up.
