To set the bio password, follow the following:
As soon as your laptop powers up, hold F2 until the ACER logo appears. Now press the right arrow on your keyboard twice to go to the: "MAIN" tab. Now press enter. You will be asked to enter the new password twice along with the original one. (if you previously had a password.). Now scroll down to where it says either: "Enabled" or "Disabled". If it is: "Disabled", press enter and select "Enabled". Exit the BIOS saving changes.

no not yet, still got it two chap up north at place of work, told them take cmos battery unconnect as this will wipe bios passs word and reconnect after 30 minutes. so we will see will get back if hear anything
