Might give this a try-right click on your Computer icon-click on Properties-then click on Device Manager. The keyboard is listed there. If it has a yellow exclamation point, or a yellow question mark, then there is a problem. Click on the arrow in front of Keyboards, then right click on the drop down named keyboard. There you can click on update drivers. That should solve the problem.

Adapter: see if you can get a duplicate adapter from someone and try theirs. Your PS has a fault which could lead to damage to the Video portion and down the road, burn out the CPU.

Hi David
It sounds like a fault to its power transition section circuit. Actually, this circuit is built inside the mother board to your laptop.
Please contact the authorized service center, and describe and show them the problem you do experience now, with your laptop. It can be rectified. Gopakumar Gopalan Google

If the restore partition is still on the hard disk then press Alt and F10 just before it boots. Otherwise try T8 just before it boots. If this fails try Creating a System Rescue USB drive (Note: An alternative to the spyware-laden Daemon-tools for mounting the ISO file as a virtual CD-ROM is Virtual CloneDrive). If you have trouble with the System Rescue CD, you can try some other distros.
Reboot the netbook and go into the Acer BIOS settings. Change the boot settings to check USB first. Plug in your System Rescue stick, and restart the netbook.
Run "wizard", and launch gtparted (icon towards the lower-left of the screen).
Delete partition 2, create a new one, then reformat it as NTFS
Mark partition 1 as bootable (right-click, edit flags). Remove USB drive.
Reboot into the Acer System Restore software. Choose to restore the system.
Plug the System Rescue USB drive back into the Acer netbook.
Reboot into the System Rescue CD/USB, go back into gparted, and flag the restored partition 2 as bootable.
Remove USB flash drive and reboot.
Hope that helps.

If it continuously beeps after every while, must be you have some alert on software running on background, check , could be temp alert, or if you have any antivirus software, it also leads to beeping whenever it finds a virus(sometimes). Hope this helps.

Wired or Wireless? If Wireless will not connect, First try a test, using a Ethernet cable connect directly to the ISP modem, Does it connect? Yes or No? If yes, move the cable to the Wireless router, Does it connect, Yes or No? If no, Contact ISP. Check ALL cables to the ISP and Wireless device ,reseat cables. It may be the Laptop Wireless or wired adapter, reboot the laptop and the wireless device. I don't have all the info needed to supply a more percise solution. Try a IP release and renew using this procedure : http://helpdeskgeek.com/networking/release-and-renew-an-ip-address/
