I want to open my hardrive in the model EVO N800V COMPAQ to replace it..kindly help..

Remove the main battery, now try power on, if okay the battery needs to be replaced. Sub out ram one at a time to see if you can start it.

The best way is to double click the windows wireless symbol by the clock and click preferences on the left. Open the Networks tab and the first option is a check box to use windows for wireless, check the box and click apply. Once again double click the wireless symbol and select your network.

Assuming Vista

1. Start button
2. control panel
3. mouse settings
4. Advanced tab
5. Properties
6. Tapping option.
7. Turn it off.

You open the case and remove it.
Replace it with a new one.
I think this is what you are asking.
Replace it with the same kind--if it's an IDE drive, you'll need a new IDE drive. SATA drives need to be replaced with like kind.
Size doesn't usually matter except in an older system.
Once you place a new drive in the system, you'll need to run the recovery disk that came with the computer or get a copy of the same version of Windows and use the code that should be on the case.

your problem is very clear... your cd-rom is corrupted.. install new windows... im very very very sure of your problem... NOTE-do this only if your cd drive is NOT displayed in my computer.. do this....

You need to check in the BIOS to see if the hard drive is being detected. Other than that, do you have like a flash disk or a media card attached to it when booting up?

You dont need to use the scroll on the touchpad just use the up and down arrows on the right hand side of your touchpad, you will find this easier to use and operate too
