It says "There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Add Hardware." I have tried to find this, but I can't. Even if I did I wouldn't know what to add to the hardware. Someone please help, I listen to a lot of music on this laptop and if I don't have sound, I can't.
If your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers make sure you have selected the (appropriate speakers) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have selected the correct speaker settings there
reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it
