Do you use Windows XP on your PC? I would use the latest SONICSTAGE software (free to download). Make sure you have enough space on your harddrive (PC). I would also disconnect other USB devices that you might have (webcam/printer ...ect). Last but not least it could help to format your MP3 player and than upload all the tracks at once. All the best

I am not able to install songs. i have installed sonic stage software. it detecting the player. after disconnectiog and playing, it shows no playlist.

Hi,

The issue happens as the songs transferred to the player is not using the SonicStage Software. I suggest that you backup the songs in the Computer and then Format the Player. To Format the Player; press and hold the DISPLAY/HOME button, select Settings-->Advanced Settings-->Initialize--> Format-->OK.
Once the Walkman Player is Formatted, install the latest version of the SonicStage Software in the Computer and transfer the songs again using the Software to the Walkman Player. Click here to install the latest version of the SonicStage Software.
This should resolve the issue.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I CAN NOT PLAY THE MP3 SONGS OR OTHERS. WHAT SHOULD I DO ?

Hi,

The NWE503 Walkma player is compatible only with the ATRAC3/ATRAC3+ and MP3 songs. These songs format will work only when transferred through the supplied SonicStage Software. You can download the latest version of the SonicStage Software from here
Transferring the songs using the SonicStage Software will resolve the issue.

How do i format my sony mp3player walkman

You have to work from Sonicstage.
Follow these steps:

Install Sonicstage (probably you've already done that)

After installing, connect the player to your computer and select 'format' from the menu (This will remove all data from the player, so you might want to make a backup).
Now transfer your music files to the player using sonicstage.

If you don't transfer them using sonicstage, the player data will get corrupt and tell you there is no data.

NO DATA:but i have so many songs on there ?

Transfer songs to your player only with SonicStage. If you did with other software, format the player from the menu and transfer songs from SonicStage. Sonicstage can be downloaded here under SonicStage. Make sure you install the security update after installing the software...

My sony mp3 player has a problem

try switching the songs to a different type. If you have a cd burner you could burn them onto a a cd to change the type but it is a waste of cd's.
