Sounds like the video card inside the computer is bad. If the monitor was bad it would not be able to display the No Input Signal. To make sure, try connecting another monitor to the computer. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the computer. If the Borrowed monitor displays the same No Input Signal message then your video card is bad. If the Borrowed monitor displays and works ok, then your original monitor or lcd screen is bad.

If you have a laptop, The video will show on most systems when you reboot without you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN (Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correct key for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key will normally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

What is monitor status no input signal mean?

It means that for the selected input (many models have multiple selectable inputs), no video signal is present. Check to be sure that the cable(s) are connected correctly and that you have the proper input source selected for the monitor.

No input signal on monitor-not connected to tv-computer works fine except for the no input signal

no input or signal means that the monitor is not receiving any signal from the CPU and if the power light is amber then and the cpu works fine then there could be a problem with the cable connecting the CPU and the monitor ...check the cable.

Searching for signal

DVI and HDMI are the exact same signal, except that DVI doesn't include the provision for audio. Essentially the problem you're having is that you have the monitor set to auto input rather than HDMI input or DVI input. Setting the monitor to not look for any input you plug in and defining the input should cause the hunting wait to be eliminated.

What should I do because it says no signal input

Sounds like your video card or monitor is bad. Most likely it's the video card because if it was the monitor the No Signal Input could not appear on the screen. To isolate the problem try connecting another monitor to the computer. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the computer. If the Borrowed Monitor displays ok without a problem then your original monitor is bad. If the Borrowed monitor has the same issue of No Input Signal as your original monitor, then your video card inside the computer is bad.

How do i switch my monitor to vga input?

Plug in the VGA cable to the monitor, and to the computer.

The monitor automatically determines which inputs have a valid signal source.

You can also set the monitor's source of video input to VGA, by going to the On Screen Display menu, and the Switch Video Input option.

Here is the User Manual,
