This could be from a failed power supply, or a failure in the management area, or a short on one of the boards which is shutting down the power supply.

SOURCE: power loss

I had the same problem. I replaced the power supply board and everything is good as new. Part numbers I ordered were 6871TPT303B (PSU board) and 6631T20037D (cable assembly). Total cost was about $145 and it took less than 20 minutes to fix. I believe Bestbuy Partsearch has the board and the cable, but I ordered mine through www.encompassparts.com/lgconsumer.

Why won't the set power up?

The red LED at the bottom of the TV is powered by the 5 volt standby circuit, if you don't have the light you don't have a 5 volt standby and without that the set is totally dead, no power going anywhere. Chances are a new power board will fix your set.

Player will not eject, play or stop, standby light will not come on

hi,
If there is no standby light then you have to check the power supply of your blue ray player. Its will be an smps power supply. Very carefull while dealing with such power supply beacuse there will be Live areas in the board. You have to check the fuse in the smps. If the fuse is faulty The its sure that the smps driver MOSFET is short. Before replacing the fuse you have to check the MOSFET. If not it will lead to further dameges to your system.
If the fuse is ok and the power supply is perfect then the mother board of your player is faulty. If so then you have to contact the nearest Authorise servicing center to get it repaired.

Three year old Black & Decker 19" model # MM875 loses power briefly while mowing under shrubbery, passing over small depressions or moving backwards quickly. It does recover and revs back up to...

There might be a power loss in the mains lead. Mowers aren't renown for substantial power leads but your mower is rated at 12 amps which not only requires a substantial power lead, the longer the lead is the greater the power loss the lead will cause and the more substantial the lead should be.
As a rule of thumb if minimal power loss is required the cross sectional area of the cable should be doubled every ten metres - completely impractical, therefore some power loss has to be expected.

The commonly used series wound motor is light and powerful and produces lots of torque when it is working hard at reduced speed but produces little power at maximum revolutions so introducing it to work will always result in a speed reduction. You are complaining of a speed reduction where mowing is harder work.

I suggest you service the motor, ensure the blade is sharp and thoroughly inspect the power lead and raise the mower bed a little where the cutting is the hardest and you will have done all you can reasonably do.

"no signal" showing on tv screen

  1. Make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the HDMI OUT port on the back of the PLAYSTATION 3 system. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI Input port of the TV or display monitor.
  2. While the PLAYSTATION 3 system is in standby mode (red light on the front of the system), hold down the touch-sensitive power button on the front of the system until the system goes into standby mode again . (So the light cycle would go from: red light --> green light --> then back to red light). This will ensure that you have held down the power button long enough to reset the Video Output Settings.
  3. Turn on the PLAYSTATION 3 system and once the system finishes powering up, the Video Output Settings will automatically reset to the standard resolution (or detect the current display output settings of your TV/monitor).

This is usually from a scan failure or the CRT has failed.

Sometimes in these sets, when the CRT is on the edge of failing the set may come on, and then turn off. If the CRT is weak, the AKG circuits see a fault condition and cause the uPC to shout the high voltage and screen bias.

If there is a scan failure occurring, the power supply goes in to a the protection mode.
