Hi i have a casio exilim and i am using a 2gb memory card in it, i went out last night and took lots of pictures after each pic was taken i viewed it to make sure it was ok or if i needed to take another one and at the end ot the night i viewed all of them. Today i went to upload the pics onto my laptop and they have gone, every single one of them. The strangest thing is, that pics that were already on there ( taken previously ) were still there, only the pics from last night had vanished. i have no idea how this happened or what to do. could anyone please help me?????????? susan

You problem set your camera to use internal memory only. Set the memory function to memory card only and all pictures will go to the memory card until it is full. You can probably still transfer your pic files from internal memory to your card.

How do i unlock the card on my exilim.casio camera

Remove the card and see if the pictures remain on the camera. If they do, then they are stored in camera memory. Make sure the memory lock on the card is in the proper position. Put the card back into your computer and delete the pictures. Then format the card, and try the card again. If the card is still locked, try a different memory card that has been formatted.

Casio exilim 8.1 card is locked

Hi!

Can you check if there is a small push button on the memory card itself? It could that it is currently on write-protect mode.

2GB memory card but only 1GB available

That is one of the problems we have seen because it isn't a model that casio recommends using with the camera. Toshiba, Panasonic, and Sandisc are the only models that they have tested and know work so that's what they recommend you use.

Blurry white image when pics are taken during broad daylight

Try first to reset your camera. Press the menu button, go over to setup, go down to reset, press the right arrow, highlight reset and press set. Don't worry it won't erase any of the pictures on your memory card. If that doesn't work you can try and manually set the white balance on your camera and I would recommend sending it into repairs if that doesn't work since it's taking nighttime pictures fine. :)

File error

I have seen this problem with generic SD memory cards so it could be a faulty memory stick.  Try to get a replacement.  If you want to try to recover the pictures you have taken, I suggest Zero Assumption Recovery (Google for it). Check to see if it is compatible with your camera before downloading.
