I had the same problem. sent it back to the dealer. it was fixed, but they did not tell me what was wrong. but my settings were are reset, so i assume it must have been a software problem, and they reloaded it with new software.
If you havn't fiddled with the security code try restoring the phone and if it is not working then open up the phone to acces the camera connector jack or ribbon what so ever refix it after cleaning it will work.
If you have a dead screen: You must Disconnect
the ribbon cable between main case and LCD screen.
be carefull lifting the connector and put it back
in place.
To reach the ribbon cable, you have to disassembly
the phone.

you got a very easy to do problem but you gona need another v220 and some help, what we do is working step by step with the 2 celu tell your friend to go on the good one and you do the same in yours it well do ti or take your celu to the store threy have yonks for solve that problem and beliveme there will be a large cuantities of v220....good luck
