My 2 year old Samsung DLP TV (Model HLR6167WAX/XAA) does not have sound on the HD channels (just crackling noise). If I unplug the TV and plug it back in then I have sound. I use a digital antenna and the picture is good. My signal strength shows 8-9 bars. Any help is very much appreciated

Hi, you have one of two problems, either the color wheel is going or one of the cooling fans are going, the color wheels are a very common problem in samsung dlp`s, sorry I can`t nail it to a specific part but I`d bet it`s the color wheel as they are notorious for failing in samsungs, video-tek

HLP4663W is not able to receive digital channels. You need a digital tv converter box to receive those digital channels.
