Have gone through replacing both ICs and some fuses here and there. got the tv to work for a while and then it went out again. just re-replaced the ICs.
i plugged the tv in and the green light came on and stayed on. tried powering up and it did nothing, but the green light remains on.
any help?

This question predates my joining Fixya, so I'm just getting to it. Are you still having this problem - and have you tried anything else? If you can update me on the current status of this, I can try to find some information to help you.

Sounds like the CRTs are going into protective blanking due to the vertical output ic needing to be resolderd. Try resoldering the vertical IC that may possibly fix the issue.

I found the schematic (downloadable PDF) for $7.99 at http://www.completeservicemanuals.com. Cheapest I found and highly recommended.
The blown fuse was due to a fried convergence IC. There are two of these on the high voltage board; they should be replaced together as a matched set. The bad one had gotten so hot I only had to unsolder three pins -- the rest were already loose!
I found the ICs at http://www.electronic-repair-kits.com, also highly recommended. The correct part for the WT-42313 is STK394-250. Make sure you order a pair and they will send you a matched set.
My set is now operating; I just need to clean the optics and do a convergence alignment.
