I bought an Acer Aspire One (AAO) this fall and within weeks the screenblacked out upon booting. Rather than replacing my AAO , Acer referredme to a technical repair depot. After 6 weeks still no word - then twoweeks ago after calling Acer they said they would send me a new one on“back-order” - still no sight of it. Today when i called they said theyhave no idea when the “back-order” will be filled. Just wonderfulcustomer support - not! Wish i had bought a MacBook now…..

I have an Acer Aspire One, purchased just over a month ago. Since then the display has failed 3x = (black screen) while the rest of the components (fan, HDD, led's) continue to function, suggesting that it is a graphics card type fault. Each time Acer replace the unit.... P.S. I use an external LCD in conjunction with the std display? The unit manages to survive 3 to 5 days with out any problems, then without and warning symptoms, it blanks off. Is this a latent defect in the aspire one range?
My 3 month old acer aspire one appeared to be working fine when I went into the other room for about a half hour. When I came back the screen was black. I assumed it was hibernating...wrong. I haven't been able to awaken it. To turn it off I had to just hold down the power button. When I tried rebooting it, black screen again. I am not a techno-saavy person. I need help.
my acer comes on then ijust get a blue screen and a cuser arrow and that is all acer aspire one
