The red bar light has three positions which are usually shown consecutively as the machine goes through the programme, however, the midway bar light comes on at the start with a little red dot under it.
SOURCE: dishwasher won't fill
could be. there is a float in the base of the machine. take the bottom front cover off and have a look. alternatively, tilt machine over and see if water runs out. water in the base of the machine means you have a leak
SOURCE: dishwasher stopped mid programme
First place I would go is the door switches, make sure the dor switch assembly is not broken, and switches working.
SOURCE: HELP WITH NON FUNCTIONING DISHWASHER
similar problems here, repair man says its fine but the salt light was on so i added salt and works ok now. Some dishwashers don't function properly without the salt and rinse aid, even though you're pills may have then included, you still have to add them seperately, dumb but necessary at times.
SOURCE: Mieli water-intake light comming on?
THIS IS THE INTAKE DRAIN LIGHT, THIS USUALLY MEANS YOU HAVE A DRAIN ISSUE, COULD BE A BLOCKAGE AT THE PUMP OR YOUR INSTALLATION IS INCORRECT, YOU CAN CALL MIELE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ORDER A USE AND CARE MANUAL AS WELL AS AN INSTALLATION GUIDE, THEY ARE ALSO VERY GOOD AT TROUBLSHOOTING OVER THE PHONE @ 1-800-843-7231
SOURCE: dishwasher not emptying at the end of its cycle.
Not sure of your light indicator; check the manual. But fyi there should be a little water left in, so the rubber seal doesn't dry out. More than that, and could be clogged drain or bad solenoid, which tells it to open and drain. See: http://www.partselect.com/repair.aspx?appliance=dishwasher&part=water-wont-drain

Hi
Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due
to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that
the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is
present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and
drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump
completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller &
clean the chopper assembly. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the
complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps...
Please post back for any further assistance.
