I have a SyncMaster AT550 and the manual came with it doesn't explain how, but I found out that you have to go to "Tools" on the remote control and put PIP "on". while you are in PC mode. However, there is no audio. I still can't figure out why the TV doesn't have audio in PC mode. This has nothing to do with my PC or the PC driver as the audio is intergrated on the monitor. Come on Sumsung! please write a better manual. I am thinking this is a bug in the monitor.

You need a seperate input signal to get PIP.

To enable PIP on Samsung series 5 its easy.
But you should know Samsung spec first (read the manual book).
PIP can be enabled if :
1. Input must be higher or equal to componen. (Componen, PC , HDMI)
2. PIP only displayed inputs as the primary and RF and AV (SD) as secondary.
3. PIP on Samsung 530 can not swapped.
4. The higher inputs will displayed as primary.
If any questions , call samsung cervice center or you can read manual book.
