I can't seem to get any digital channels - Samsung SyncMaster 2333HD 23 in. LCD TV

now have just digital antenna to get local channnels. I cannot seem to set this up, as only choice allowed is TV, not AV Receiver (under Source List). Can you help with with settings to use under Menu function? ... very frustrated right now :/

Before scanning for channel, check to see if the Antenna input is set to Cable or Antenna. If you have rabbit ears or and outside antenna then set it to antenna. If you have cable then set it to cable. Then rescan for channels. If this has already been set then the next step is to check the antenna or cable feed. If possible plug the antenna or cable feed into another TV that is known to be working correctly. If it is capable of receiving digital channels then the problem is likely the Samsungs ATSC tuner and will require service.
If neither TV is getting Digital channels then I will need more info on your antenna setup and where you are located. I am a pro on TV antennas and reception.

I'm having the same problem I'm getting channels 30-10 30-11 etc. I'm only getting 5 channels and I don't know what the hell they're saying

I have a Panasonic TH-58PZ700U Which drops channels? Will have the channel one day and the next its gone then it will reappear! Is it the tuner going bad?

I would replace the DG Board. There hard to come by for this TV. I saw one on eBay about a week ago for $75.00 witch is a very good price for this part.

Analog channels are fuzzy but the digital channels are clear

So what's wrong??? Analog signals that may seem pretty good on an old CRT would seem terrible on the newer TVs because all the flaws show up much sharper. Thank goodness for digital signals. With digital signals, unlike analog signals, you either get a good clear picture or no picture at all.

How do we change a channel to accept VHF

You can use the remote and push the input button until it shows digital channel. But in order to get VHF you need the access the channel search in menu. You also will need a descent "digital" antenna as the Digital signal is no where near as relaible as analog was. Also older antanna's do not seem to work very well with the digital signal. I recommend an outdoor version because a single wall can interfere with digital signal. If thats not an option get a descent amplified indoor antenna. If you do a channel search without an antenna more than likely you not find any channels.

Lost all digital channels - Sony KDL-52W3100

Use ur original remote of the tv u want setup to the DTV box go menu switch cable back to air
reseption.Set tv channel 3 hook up the DTV box and rescan the channels u have it.

Dmr-es10 dvd recorder - cant get the machine to record digital channels form tv

Channels 1-5 are I believe for Analogue reception. To record from my digital Freeview box, I'm plugged into SCART port 2 (bottom most port on right hand side of machine as you look at it from the front). Use your remote to change the channel to A2 with the <CH> rocker button just above the video+ button on the controller. This will then record whatever channel your freeview box is set to - the only pain is you can't watch a separate channel whilste recording.
