When i start or restart or if my computer get
You may have the resolution set wrong for the monitor. Usually one will say "recommended" by it. If that does not work, sounds like either you need to update or rollback your driver. (If recently updated, roll it back. If not, then update it. If neither of these works, possibly you need a new video card.

Monitor does not switch on every time.
WOW! That's a VERY NICE WORKHORSE MONITOR ~ even if it IS a CRT!
SOMETIMES it's the POWER SWITCH itself! Spray it with contact cleaner ~ WITH silicone...
Power transistors get QUITE hot in the power supply itself... double-check those joints!
The eraser-end of a PENCIL is a great tool for 'tapping around' for "sensitive" areas.
Have you tried a can of FREEZE SPRAY with a THIN/LONG nozzle? It's great for spot-testing...
SUSPECT larger resistors with CAPS at the ends... a WONDERFUL source of intermittent(s)!
LAST choice ~ a TV shop.

Samsung CRT syncmaster 1100p shows backgrd pic
At first check your CPU that it is working or not by connecting another monitor. If working then then right in desktop-->Screen Resulotion-->keep it 800X600 -->OK--->OK.(in windows 7 or latter )
then reconnect with your monitor it will work.

Shows shadow behind every image
try replacing the cable 1st, if that fails it is probably a bad CRT.
Samsung CRTs are notorious for going bad even before their warranty period has expired

Monitor is not detected in Win-8
Not all older monitors have the correct monitor.inf information for the newer operating systems. Look for a new monitor.inf file download that matches your monitor for Windows 8.

How do I remove the back cover from a Samsung 753
Along the top of the monitor cover you can two narrow slots , one near the left end and another on the right end . Take a thin flat blade ( which should be thinner than the width of the slots ) and gently push downwards . You can hear hear a slight 'tuk' sound when the latches disengage . Push the back cover gently backwards.
