My samsun lcd tv LA32A450C1XXS (32 INCHES) TV screen was damaged when my todler threw a sharp object on it, where can i get a spare screen.

Dead pixels are a fact of life on these newer flat panel TV's I dont believe you can fix them. They will be "on" on a completely black picture.

I had the same issue with my Sharp Aquos 52 inch LCD TV. I called Sharp. The tech had me unplug my TV, take the batteries out of the remote (TV remote not cable) and press all buttons on the remote (including the buttons under the flip top at the bottom of the remote). I did this, put the batteries back in and plugged in the tv and everything worked. I had gone 4 months having to use the surround sound for volume and turning the TV on and off by hand. This took 2 minutes to fix.

Well, the good thing you got a new TV out of it.
The best and easiest thing to do is sell it on your local Craigslist.
The parts inside the TV can be used to repair other TVs that have no damage to the screens. I would say $100 for the whole thing would be fair price for all the parts inside.
If nobody wants to buy it on Craigslist, go to Shopjimmy.com and contact them if they want to buy the TV from you. They're all about recycling parts.

Sharp lc46d64u screen has vertical green lines
Unfortunately my friend, there is not a whole lot that can be done. Sharp has a great limited warranty, but it does NOT cover ANY problems due to physical damage. Getting screens replaced often times cost more than the tv itself. Save yourself the trouble of getting pissed off at sharp because they wont help you if you decide to call and replace the tv. Cracked LCD Screen
I had one broken a few months ago. I got a couple quotes.. it was about $200 less then a brand new one. I'd just buy a new one.
For the new TV I'd pickup a screen protector for it. My son threw a toy at my TV the other day and I nearly had a heart attack from the flashbacks. Thank God I picked up one of these a few weeks earlier. It stopped it. LCD screens really break easily as you know. http://www.tv-armor.com

It's the LCD panel damage. You need to replace the whole LCD panel to get this problem fixed.
