Screen cracked from the inside

Have you checked to make sure you don't have a crack on the screen. Static electricity can also cause this. On many large screen TV's this is normal

For the cost of the panel, you could purchase a 65" LCD TV with a service contract and delivery. For some reason, Sharp replacement LCD panels have such a cost factor that repair is never economical. It's a sad ordeal, because they do make a reliable product (which I do recommend). I hope this was helpful, best wishes.

Unfortunatly it is garbage basically.. You can have them repaired using a TV Repair guy but often it costs as much as a brand new LCD. My daughter broke my $1,600 LCD. It would have cost $1,200 to fix.. so I just bought a new one.After that I picked up a TV screen protector called TV Armor http://www.tv-armor.com Its designed to protect the TV from damage. Now I dont have to worry anymore when she is playing near it. It works really well.

If the actual LCD panel is cracked, you don't want to even bother looking for a replacement. It would be either the same cost or more expensive to replace the LCD panel than to buy a brand new one. The other issue is if you are going to attempt to do it yourself, there is a chance that you might inadvertently damage something in the process so you would be out the money you spent on the LCD panel and you would still need to buy a new one. These are called consumer models for a reason. Mass production drops the price of the unit, but replacement parts outside of that mass production sometimes are as expensive if not more expensive than a brand new whole unit and are a lot of time VERY hard to find. LCD's are disposable once the actual panel is damaged.

Unfortunately the LCD panel would need to be replaced. Even if there is not any signs of damage to the outside portion of the panel, one of the inner screens may have been fractured. I am not sure if the panel would be available because if i'm not mistaken Sharp just started making replacement panels.

It is possible to fix but unfortunately the whole lcd panel is one unit so if it is on the inside or outside the whole thing will have to be replaced. The cost on such a thing is right around 3/4 of the price of the tv.

My aquos plat screen tv was pushed over by my three year old. The screen is damaged but everything esle works. Is this problem fixable?

not sure i laid over a lcd for a couple mintues. that belong to my comapny, once i stood it back up the screen was cracked. i like to have fell over, the replacement part is 12266.00 i guess your out of luck. as i am.
