How do i get a picture the right size to fit on my social media page?

Hi,
if you have a photo in jpeg format then it is possible to save it in jpeg format too but changing the parameter "JPEG quality factor" from 100% to 80% for example. The pixels of photo will be the same but the size smaller. I usually use Microsoft Photo Editor application on my Windows PC:
1- open file
2- save as ...
3- choose jpeg format
4- press button "more"
5- change jpeg quality factor %
6- press save

How do I downsize my photos on the camera

You can do it online! Check out http://www.picresize.com/ where you can upload your photos and crop them or simply resize them.

You could also use photoshop if you have it. In there, you would simply open the picture, then click 'save for web.' then you type in a new size and save it.

New busbi 4gb memory card does not work. Only shows out of memory on camera screen.

Try formatting the card in the camera.

When I try and upload my video to facebook, it goes to the starting upload thing, but then just makes a bunch of clicking sounds and never starts uploading!!

Loading to youtube with enviro camera

You tube accepts wide video file formats such as .wmv, .avi, .mov, .mpg transferred from most digital cameras. The problem you have, the video you upload might not from those video formats. So youtube may not recognize or upload it. What you really need is to convert your video to a format which can be uploaded to youtube like MPEG4 (recommended). Alive MP4 Converter program allows you to convert AVI files or whatever formats to MPEG4 which can be uploaded to youtube. Else, use another updated web browser to open youtube and upload it there.

Scan images file size seems very large

That entirely depends on your scan settings. The resolution has a huge impact on file size - doubling the resolution from, say. 150dpi to 300dpi actually quadruples your file size. That being said, your scans are probably saved as BMPs. If you scan to Paint or a proprietary image editor (like Photoshop), then you can save in a compressed format like JPG or PNG and reduce the file size some more.

Bottom line - if you're scanning a full size (8.5x11) page, then less than 2MB per page is pretty decent, especially if the file is a BMP. If these are 4x6 photos, then it's still not bad if you're using a resolution like 300dpi. My digital camera takes photos at 5megapixels and the files are often 1-2MB each, and those are just photos.

If you have Windows XP or better, you also have "Windows Movie Maker". Use this program to compress your videos to a usable size. Keep in mind, with compression comes some loss in quality, depending on how much you want to shrink it.

Use your favourite image editing software in Vista. Or use the software that came on CD with your camera (if it is not the one that runs on XP only). Anyway as alternative solution you can either shoot photos in lower resolutions (1Mpix for example) and then the files won't be so big. But you will have only the small photo and no large one. Or shoot as usual, then switch camera to "play" mode and when viewing images on camera, there is a menu option to resize the images - you can resize them to 1Mpix for example. In the meantime search web for some free image editing software for Vista.

You have two options:

First: use a picture management software to resize the pictures to a smaller resolution such as 640x480 pixels.

Second: reduce resolution on camera. The smallest resolution possible is 1024x768 on L200.
To do so in your Samsung L200, press Fn button. Then scrool up or down until you see SIZE on-screen. Press button to right until 1M appears, then press OK.
