This isn't regarding the LG Studioworks monitor - it's actually a Xiod 17" TFT that I bought over 4yrs ago when TFTs cost the earth!
For a while now it's had a blue shade that covers the whole screen. It's not like it's missing a colour, just that everything is shaded blue. It's not always there, but most of the time. Sometimes, if I sort of bend the sides of the screen away from me, it turns back to normal - but not for long! Any ideas?!

This problem is not from monitor side, check computer RAM.Clean it twice and reinstall it on place. If you are using VGA card then disconnect it from PCI slots and connect VGA cable to on board VGA . I think it solves your problem.Let me know
problem with the monitor Display cable. it is damaged.
Normally monitor will receive 3 colors red, green, Blue signals from CPU. If one cable i.e Red wire connection is missing in display cable which is connected to monitor, Red color image on monitor wil be replaced with other fade color.
So, need the replace the display cable or display connector!
I thing it is the problem of horizantal output transistor.that is placed on hitsink of eht big in size.Or check vga cable.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back as requested, how things turned up or should you need additional information.
