REPLACE 2SC5707 IN POWER INVERTER BOARD.
This parts is used to fix Some dell and hp lcd monitor.
DELL E172FPb, E173FPb. HP Pavilion F1703, Pavilion F1503.
If you can't get this item to work let me know, I can help
I have fixed a lot of these monitor with no problem.
I have only heard of this once before and it was the bios for the monitor was not storing the settings for the screen resoloutions.
When you first run an LCD it sets all of this and stores the refresh rates etc in the LCD's bios. If that begins to fail, then it can not remember being used at that resoloution and will ask you to set it up as it would in the factory.
You would need to get the exact same bios chip for your monitor from DELL (good luck)
