Good day!!!

if the command signal from main board to DMD board missing the problem could be the main board..

I already found the board online for only $75 on this site http://www.discounttvparts.com/6871VSMS28B_p/td-1169.htm

$100 on this site http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-LG-MAIN-UNIT-6871VSMS28B-6870VS2273C-/260877125964

My 73" mitsubishi dlp WD-73827 turns off and has a red status light blinking. I have replaced the bulb and the heat sensor... any answer to what else could be the problem?

It is helpful to have the sequence of the blinking red light. This may help:

3. Error Code Operational Check

Note: The TV must be in "Shut Down" and not have been switched Off, to perform the Error Code Operational

Check. When the TV is switched Off, the code automatically resets to "12" No Error.

Pressing the front panel "DEVICE" and "MENU" buttons at the same time, and holding for 5 seconds,

activates the Error Code Mode. The LED flashes denoting a two digit Error Code, or indicating no problem

has occured since the last Initalization.

Note: The front panel buttons must be used, NOT those on the Remote Control.

• The number of flashes indicates the value of the MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code.

• The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2 second.

• The LED then flashes indicating the value of the LSD (ones digit) of the Error Code.

• The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.

Example: If the Error Code is "23", the LED will flash two times, pause, and then flash three times.

Mitshubishi WD-62327 TV will not turn on and no sound. TV made a interference sound and shut off. Tried to turn it in the morning still nothing. Replaced lamp/bulb still nothing. Red light is on (not...

If you have a voltage meter there are some things you can check.
Unplug the unit and remove the back cover of the set. Then Plug the unit back in.
You will need to tape down the lamp safety switch in order to do these tests.
Here are all the failures that would give you a lamp error and what to check.
Cause 1. Unit powers on and works properly for a while then shuts off with a red lamp led(lamp error). Suspect bad lamp and replace.
Cause 2. Unit does not power up correctly and you have red lamp led(lamp error). Check the lamp enable line at connector J14 on the back of the light engine. If pin 6 does not switch to 5 volts after turn on, but your 12 and 5 volt supplies are good, then suspect a defective light engine.
Cuse 3. At power on the lamp turns on and off 3 times and then the unit shuts down with a red lamp led(lamp error). You have a defective light engine.
Cause 4. Unit does not turn on correctly and you have a red lamp led(lamp error). Check for 12 volts at connector J9 pin 4 on the light engine. If voltage is missing check for an open fuse F9A09 on the power supply board. If it is open, then you need to replace the fuse and you still have a defective light engine.
Cause 5. Lamp enable line at connector J14 pin 6 on the light engine does go to 5 volts at turn on, but does not drop back to 0 volts after 5 seconds, but your 12 and 5 volts supplies are good then you have a defective light engine.
Cuase 6. Check for 5 volts at connector J9 pins 1 and 2 on the light engine. If low or missing check Capacitors C9A37 and C9A38. Values are 3300MF/10V. Replace capacitors if defective.

This is all I have and I wish you luck.

I have a samsung hlp5063wx. I just replaced the color wheel. It worked fine for two days. Then no picture or sound. After I turn the tv on the lamp LED on the front flashes. Then it goes thru its cycles....

If the color wheel doesn't spin, the lamp will not fire. The lamp has a gap in it, it will read open. Pull the rear cover off trip the door switch and look close and listen. Double check that the color wheel does not spin up (turn on, then wait 5 secounds or so.. pull the power cord and listen for it to stop.. best method). Also, watch the lamp driver.. there is a condensor coil on there that will lite up when it is sending the ignition pulse to the lamp... do you see it? If so, it's the lamp.

My samsung dlp has no picture or sound. Model hls5066wx, power comes on lamp light flashes for 15sec and then the standby lamp comes on then it goes back to the lamp light flashing. It repeats this a few...

Chances are that the Interlock Safety Switch is not properly set. Remove the Lamp Door and then reinstall the door and tighten the screw. This will reset the Switch. If that does not fix the problem make sure that the Lamp is correctly seated. Beyond that you will need a trained samsung tech troubleshoot the set because it can be a bad Lamp Ballast,DMD bd,Main bd,Color Wheel. Also make sure you have the correct lamp. There is a Lamp Code sticker on the left side of the set. Match the code from the tv to the new lamp you purchased.

Tv powers on then ''clicks'' off

After the lights on the front of the tv settle down, push and hold the menu and input (or deivice) buttons for 5 seconds. Now count the number of times the LED blinks and follow these instructions.
Cause #1 1. Self-diagnosis error 4-4, check for proper seating of the DVI cable between the FMT PCB and the DMD (Light Engine). It may be necessary to disconnect and reconnect this cable to insure proper connection. 2. Self-diagnosis error 4-4, check for 3.3 volts DC at connector J-9 pin 8 on the Engine Driver PCB, if missing check F9A06 part # 283P128050 on the Power PCB if this is open suspect the 3.3v regulator circuit on the Power PCB part # 930B921002 3. Self-diagnosis error 4-4, check for 3.3 volts DC at connector J-9 pin 8 on the Engine Driver PCB, if missing check F9A07 part # 283P128050 on the Power PCB, if open suspect it to have been opened by the Light Engine part # 939P977020 4. Self-diagnosis error 4-4, if the 3.3 volt supply at J-9 pin 8 is good and the connection on the DVI cable between the FMT PCB and DMD are secure, suspect the Light Engine part # 939P977020 5. Self-diagnosis error 4-1, suspect the Power PCB part # 930B921002

WD-62327 Lamp

OSRAM VS. PHILLIPS
This is about buying replacement bulbs for the WD62327 TVs.I dont know about the other models but I purchased a PHILLIPS replacement bulb and it worked for about a week and then those dumb flashing lights and no TV. I did some research and others were saying that you had to replace some condensers. Shop would do it for 600 dollars..Well i sent the bulb back and bought an OSRAM replaement bulb. The TV is now working perfect.
