Please explain exactly what it does..If it does start but stay on the logo screen it means it need an operation system ..or the operation system does not load cause the settings were changed in BIOS ..and teh ahci function is on and iot has no driver ..In this case the action to be done is to go to BIOS settings by pressing f2 on start .. open the first tab and locate the ahci function .and disable it ..and let it run ide compatible ..save teh changes with F10 and restart ..This will make it work if it has a good operation system on .if it does not ..you have to load it again ..and do this using recovery partition or disk .or just use a normal boot-able disk with the operation system you want .start with the disk in ..hit f12 to sel;ect the boot from disk ..and enter to continue ..If you are asked ..press any key to confirm the action ..and go with the installing ..

When you see "No bootable device" in Toshiba, one of the possible reasons is your computer doesn't have the properly boot order, so your system couldn't find the proper boot device when starting. To fix the problem, you should set the boot order correctly.

My Toshiba Laptop can't boot.It keeps on restarting. I have to press F12 for the Laptop to boot win7

Toshiba laptop should come with a Windows media (DVD disc). You can use it to fix this booting problem (it will fix the problem automatically if it boots up using the Windows DVD disc).

How can i go in boot option

Normally when you power on your Toshiba Satellite laptop it attempts to boot the operating system installed on its hard drive.
In some instances you may want to boot the Satellite laptop from a different device, such as an operating system installation CD or a USB drive.
The boot order doesn't have to permanently be set to the hard drive.
It's possible to access the boot order before the operating system loads and change which device is set to boot first.

Turn off the Toshiba Satellite laptop.
Turn it back on immediately and wait for the "press the F2 key to enter Setup" entry to show up on the screen.
Press the "F2" key to access the Toshiba Satellite's BIOS menu.
Use the right arrow key to navigate to the BIOS tab labeled "Boot."

Scroll down to the option labeled "Boot Priority" and tap Enter.
Check through the list of devices and locate the specific device you want to use to Boot your Toshiba laptop, such as "CD-ROM," "USB" or "LAN."

Highlight the name of the device in the list and then tap Enter to make it the top boot priority.
Use the right arrow key again to scroll over to the "Exit" BIOS menu.

Tap the down arrow key to highlight the "Save and Exit" option.
Press Enter to save the new boot order and restart your Toshiba Satellite laptop.

Repeat the procedure when you want to change the boot order back to its original setting.
