Need diagram showing Heater Hose connection points. Upper heater hose connects to a pipe along the left front side of engine which travels dow the left side and elbows torwards the radiator under the engine and above the cross members and ends. there was a long black heater hose attached to this end of the water pipe which was ziptied to the cross member plugged with a screwdriver and hose clamp. Where does this end of the hose connect to? cannot find any open ports on water pump, radiator, or engine block or intake manifold. Is there a curved ported cap that should be on the water pump housing unit or does the end of this hose connect to the radiator somehow. I need a diagram showing me the correct pathways for the heater hoses and their connections and a list of parts needed to correctly fix this problem.

Try the scrapyard and look at one in their ,or ask a local owner that is just parking up in a supermarket and look at theirs .lots of different ways to overcome this problem but if the pipe has beeen disconnected its because the heater matrix is no doubt leaking

2003 ford windstar, my heater hose is leaking at the connection to iron pipe, I need a diagram to figure out how to fix

Most likely while you are in there it's time to replace the hose. Saves having to go back if it starts leaking on the other end which is highly likely given the age. There should be a return heater hose, it is probably in similar condition. Diagram may be available via google. Youtube may show you how to. A very bright led flash light will allow you to see and trace the heater hose. You'll need to drain the radiator save the antifreze if new. Replace if old. Any other cooling system hoses need to be replaced? How is the water pump. It's not the leak is it? Otherwise Library probably has repair manual, or may be time to invest in repair manual. Lightly used may be available on Ebay and others. New hoses are cheap insurance against possible failure.

I NEED A HEATER HOSE DIAGRAM FOR MY 98 VOLVO S70 T5 TURBO PRIOR OWNER BYPASSED THE HEATER THANK YOU JAMES CUMMINGS

You will likely need the heater hose junction (Volvo p/n 3522035) since it always leaks and it connects the heater core to the heater hoses on the firewall. The kit usually contains the retaining clips, but not the O-rings to connect to the heater core. You will also need the outlet and inlet hoses (9186847 and 9186849). The length, angles and configuration of these hoses will help you understand their orientation in the engine bay. They can only go on one way. Else, they won't connect to the pipes from the engine.

Fiat X19 heater hose

There are two heater hoses which go from the engine to the heater core. One begins on the driver side of the engine (comes off the water pump pipe) and goes between the engine and firewall, under the vehicle, and connects to a steel pipe under the vehicle.

The other begins on the passenger side of the engine goes thru the firewall, thru the spare tire compartment and into the tunnel of the vehicle where it joins a metal pipe which located underneath the shifter assembly. Remove the shift boot and the bolts underneath which secure the shift mechanism, and move the shifter out of the way so you can see the hose-to-pipe connection in the tunnel.

How and what to remove to replace a bypass hose on the heater system

you have two heater hoses going into the firewall of the car; these to to the heater core. follow those hoses to their attach points on the engine.
disconnect one heater hose from the firewall and connect this to the attachment point of the other hose on the engine. or just get a fitting( simply a piece of pipe from an autoparts store) to attach both hose ends ( from the firewall) together, thereby bypassing the heater core.

Is there a diagram online that shows the hoses going into the heater coil? I want to bypass the heater coil because it is leaking. I want to cap off the hoses.

if you cap off the hoses then you will over heat the truck and cause severe damage to it,if you want to bypass the heater core the look for the two hoses that enter the truck on the passenger side of the fire wall, loosen the clamps and remove the hoses then insert a small pipe to go into one hose **** it down and then install the other hose on the exposed end of the pipe and clamp it down this will let water circulate through the cooling system, but you will not have any heat in the cab

I have a water leak coming from my engine block. How to repair 2001 Buick 3.8 It is come out of a 5/8 pipe or around it

If it's a hose, best bet is to just replace it, and use new clamps.

If it's leaking where it's connected to the nipple, for a quick fix, you can remove the hose, cut the hose off past the leak, and reattach it.

This requires a little bit of slack in the hose, but if the leak is right at the connection, there should be enough slack in the hose to do this.

1995 camaro hvac motor location

  1. Drain the engine coolant into a suitable container.
  2. Open the instrument panel glove compartment. Push in on the sides of the compartment to release it, allowing access to the heater core.
The heater core can be damaged if too much force is applied to the heater core pipes during hose removal.
  1. Remove the heater module screws and remove the heater module assembly cover. For vehicles equipped with A/C, remove the air conditioning evaporator temperature sensor assembly from the heater and A/C cover.
  2. Remove the heater core screw and clamp.
  3. Remove the hose pipe clamp screw and the hose pipe clamp. Clamp off the heater hoses.

0900c152800b8724.jpgFig. 4: Exploded view of the heater core removed from the heater module assemblyTo install:
  1. Install the heater core and attach the heater hose assembly to the heater hose pipes. Note the following:
    1. Lubricate the heater core pipes with petroleum jelly for ease of installation and to assure a good seal.
    2. Be sure the seals around the heater pipes remain in place when installing.
    3. To verify that the seal is installed correctly, observe the seal from inside the engine compartment. If the seal has leaks, apply a sealer between the heater core pipes and the evaporator housing.
  2. Install the hose pipe clamp and the bolt/screw. Unclamp the heater hoses. Tighten the hose pipe clamp bolt/screw to 16 inch lbs. (1.8 Nm).
  3. Install the heater core clamp and screw. Tighten the screw to 16 inch lbs. (1.8 Nm).
  4. Install the heater module assembly cover and secure with the retaining screws. Tighten the screws to 18 inch lbs. (2 Nm).
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
  6. Refill the cooling system. Operate the engine and check for leaks, add coolant if necessary.
  7. Install the instrument panel glove compartment.
