If its power indicator LED at the front panel is also do not light up, there is some fault with its power regulator board inside it. Open your tV, and locate the power regulator board. It is easy to locate as, AC power goes direct to it after ON/OFF switch. Check the protector fuse [a glass cartridge type will be used] is burned out or not. If it ahs burned out, replace it with same type in both size and ampere capacity. You can not is rating on its rims; or it will be markde on the printed circuit board itself, under the fuse holder.
If the newly inserted fuse also blow out as soon as you switch ON the Tv, never use anymore fuses, as there is some direct short circuit with that power regulator board. It is better to replace that boad as card basis, than making any "surgery" to it. OK.
