How do i install a software for windows xp on my windows 7

Ok so im a little confused.. You have windows 8, windows 7 and xp on your computer??

Did you install the xp os correctly?

Depending on the Windows version you have, you may be able to use the software. If you have Windows 7 Professional or Windows 7 Ultimate, you can download the Microsft Virtual PC and XP mode and install them on your computer. In so doing you will be able to run Windows XP on top of Windows 7. While running XP you can install that software and run it from XP. You will be able to communicate with Internet, the printers, everything.
Sorry, but you cannot install XP mode on other versions of Windows 7 such as W7 Basic, Home Premium, Just Pro and Ultimate.

You need the original installations DVD's.
On windows xp,you can't upgrade to windows 7 so you have to run a clean installation.This is done by inserting the installation DVD's to run set up and following instructions.
To maintain the settings that you have in windows xp,you may need an external hard disk first to migrate files off your pc.This is done using Windows 7 Easy transfer from which you will later re-install your files and softwares.This software is available in windows 7 installations DVD's under support.

This may help. Depending on your version of windows 7 you may be able to run Windows XP as a virtual machine and still user your scanner under XP Mode. You will have to install the XP driver for your scanner on the XP virtual machine running on your Windows 7 computer.

What I understand is that your photo explosion deluxe is a windows xp software. Since it is not working readily out of the box in windows 7 then what you could do is install windows xp mode for windows 7. Windows xp mode allows xp software to be installed and windows 7. What you need to do is just download windows xp mode and install it. After which you could then install that software on there. Just make sure to uninstall your current installation of photo explosion deluxe before you do this.

The website / Microsoft site does not have any information if this software will work with Windows 7 / Vista, hence it would be a better idea to try installing it and see it it works. If it does not work with windows 7, windows 7 has a very good feature called XP mode to use old software and hardware which are compatible with XP but not with windows 7.
