Not likely a grounding problem. Run a test: Turn on unit with NO sound into the mics and wait 5 minutes... now try the mics. If they start working for a few minutes, then the amp is being overdriven. These small systems can be overheated and a thermal protector shuts them down to protect them. A hidden problem is if the mics are in front of the speakers you MIGHT have ultrasonic (above hearing range) feedback that may be overheating the unit. Put your speakers nearer the audience and mics behind. If problem persists, exercise your warranty.
Hello,, your problem is likly due to faulty contacts on the mechanical switches in your unit, you must dissemble the unit to the point of being able to access the switches main body,(electrical contacts) and spray cleaner solutions on the contacts, this will clean the contact surfaces and restore normal operation of your device, the contact switches are likely Aux input, tape monitor any equalizer switches. a contact cleaner spray from the any electronic supply will work well and a finite use of WD 40 is also very good, but use it sparingly. Good luck
The hard disk inside that Spire case has died - running the free space clean from CCleaner (a very intensive procedure) has been the death blow to an already sick disk.. Nothing more can be done to save it and the data on it. Replace it with a new one.
if the pc runs windows vista they won't work in less they have a power but if the pc runs windows xp try to install the drivers for the speakers here is the download link http://www.user-guides.co.uk/download/free/freedrivers/free-drivers-installing-dell-a215-speakers.html
You can upgrade your motherboard's BIOS with the latest version (downloadable at: http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=KyHOsOKWujC2QguJ&content=download). This might help resolve the problem. If not, then the problem you are having might be because of a bug in Windows 7, since it is not yet the final version. If possible, you can test whether this is the case or not by backing up your system & installing Windows XP or Vista, and test to see if the problem will persist or not.
start with the sound , do you have some speakers or amp that can take rca connnectors if so plug in to audio out and if you hear sound then the video is presumed ok too , likely some setting or cable issue then. if no sound the the proc amp is shot.
