Family passcode resets are unique to each console via the serial number. To obtain the correct unlocking procedure you will need to contact MICROSOFT Xbox Support. Where they will want to confirm you own the console and then tell you the procedure to unlock it. DO NOT use another consoles unlocking procedure on you console they are all different. So call Xbox they will sort this out.
I've managed to come across this from someone who called microsoft with the same problem (it seems quite common)
Go into settingsConsole settingsThen device settings (The one with the blue screen) Then go: left trigger, right trigger, x, y, left bumper, right bumper, left with left stick, up with left stick, right with left stick, x
If you have trouble use the pad instead of stick, but I could only get the stick to work..
If you've forgotten the answer to your pass-code reset question as well as your pass code, please call Xbox Customer Support at 1-800-555-741. They will resolve the issue for you
