GE Profile top load washer made loud buzz/screech noise. Clothes are coming out with dirt, cat hair, fuzz, etc even after washing twice. And now hot/warm water isn't working.

When you took the hot water hose off, did you check the little gauze strainer inside where the hose screws? That black in the water is iron and scale from the hot tank. See the video I added.

Buzzing could be the motor or controller knob, but if its' running, don't worry.

Screeching is normally belt slip. You can get a can of belt conditioner which makes it supple and grippy.

A GE washer making noise that sounds like squealing likely has a damaged drive belt. This rubber belt is suspended on a pulley, connecting the tub to the drive motor or transmission in front and top load washers. Wear and tear can cause the belt to loosen or fray, resulting in a squealing sound.

My washer is making a loud nosie when agitation starts

That is a normal sound when the transmission shifts from the last spin cycle to go into the agitate cycle. It should make a loud click sound that does not last longer than a second. There is nothing wrong with your washing machine.

I have a Maytag A183 top loading washing machine. It recently starting making a loud buzzing noise when you first pull out the knob to start it. If you turn it off and on a couple of times, the sounds...

That loud buzzing noise is your water fill valve. First turn off the water valves to the washer and unscrew the hoses and check that the filters are not corroded or clogged. I had a maytag washer that was doing the same thing and finally the lid switch and timer had to be replaced. I would unplug the washer and remove the screws along the upper rear cover behind the timer assembly and check that all connections are secure. Unplug them then plug back in if neccessary. Then put the cover back on plug back in and try it.

If it still does it you might need the water valve replaced.

Whirlpool cabrio-buzzing noise when water runs

i think the problem that you have is one of the electric coils from the entrance valve from water. Check if there the vibration comes from there.

Buzzing - will not spin or drain water

This noise is probably the pump trying to start but will most likely be obstructed.Drain the machine manually by lowering the drain hose into a bucket or bowl and then remove blockage.

Washing machine makes buzzing noise

Check the water pump for an obstruction in the chamber area, your pump may be sticking and that will cause the buzzing sound. The water pump runs during the fill portion of the cycle on several of the selected wash cycles to recirculate the water.
