Problems with pc reading floppy after taking images

I can view the images on the camera just fine. However, when I put the floppy in the disk drive on my computer, it responds as though it's a blank disk. I checked the properties on the disk, using my pc. It indicated the disk had some used space on it but still will not list the image files on the disk.

    nightdiver,
I tried as you suggested. Still nothing. It appears the disk is empty - yet clicking on properties reveals that the disk is approximately 95% full.
I am at a loss. I have tried three computers and the same with all, yet the images can be viewed when the disk is in the camera.

Hi JenneyLou, Install your software that came with your camera. Remove disk from camera and put in computer Open up the web page Go to "Insert Picture From File" Choose "A" drive Find the selected photo Choose and Click OK This will insert the photo. You can now resize to fit the page. Let me know if this helps, nightdiver

Did you try another disk? Format the new disk in the camera, take a few pics, and see if they show up. It could be that the data on the disk is corrupted.

Designer I - failing floppy drive

You can get the floppy drive replaced. I did tons of them! I don't think it is you. Sometimes you can "wiggle" the floppy a bit with the little flap door open and get it to read. Not a huge deal to replace.

Reading the Sony MVC-FD91 disks on the computer

MVC-FD91 doesn't need any driver for PC . It use Floppy Disk. Please check your PC Floppy Drive, seems bad. I would recommend to replace it, its not costly item.
