I've got an intel db43ld that won't post. The green and red LEDs on the motherboard are blinking. I've tried to replaced the motherboard, memory, and power supply and the lights are still blinking. I am trying to find out what the lights are trying to tell me. Please help!

Test the leads that attach to your ((hard drive from the motherboard)) or replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the ones that attach from your ((motherboard to hard drive))
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections needs its connections continue its cycle and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
hope this helps

PC not POST - Phase LEDs blink once then nothing

Try testing with a voltmeter. They are common, cheap, and you may even have one. Or, at least be able to borrow one.

Wiring motherboard to a atx tower

The motherboard manual will give you a breakdown of the cast-to-motherboard connections for the board. They differ slightly from board to board, but the connections are almost always found at the bottom front corner of the motherboard. There will be connections for the hard drive LED, the power LED, the power switch, the reset switch, and on some, the speaker (optional). The power switch and the reset switch connectors , 2-pin plugs, are not polarized, meaning that they can be connected to their pins either way without issue. The Power and HDD LED plugs are polarized, as LEDs have a positive and negative. Get this plug backward and the LED won't work. These are also 2-pin plugs. The power LED usually has a green and white wire (Green is +) and the HDD is usually red and white (Red is +) . Some motherboards have color-coded pins -- DO NOT TRUST THEM IF YOU DON'T HAVE A MANUAL -- they are not always standardized. Some motherboards have small print on the board adjacent to the pins to identify them. You CAN trust these. Otherwise, go to the Motherboard manufacturers site and get the manual for the board. The model number is on the board and can be searched for. If the manufacturer's name is not obvious, Google the model number and it will usually lead you to the manufacturer.

My PC intel desktop d845grg has 4 frontal leds. When i turn it on it beeps, then only the 1st and the last leds become constantly on and there's no video signal. I've tried a different monitor and...

the beeps are post during post the very first work is done by the ram,all the memory in the ram is first transferred to the hard disk, and remains active untill turned off.

make sure that your RAM modules and Cmos battery are securely seated

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty also check the graphics card socket for dust

a computer needs power and data to travel through every working device and to its continue its cycle and to have and end to function
the beeps are post pre operating system searching for some hardware it could be RAM cd/dvd hard drive or motherboard all of these must have secure connections for the computer to work
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure make sure the connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs all electric current and computer data to travel to and through every working device and have an end to work properly click start right click on my computer so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
hope this helps you
