I have an ion Slides 2 PC that came with ArcSoft PhotoImpressions 6.1.56.147 that I'm running on Windows 7. The first time I installed the software it worked but sluggishly. The buttons for taking the snap shot, Transferring the image, Formatting, and exiting began to be unresponsive. After Calibration, I would put a slide in, the live image would come up, I would click the "Snap Shot" button, the flash on the icon would flash, and then I would wait, and wait. A few times I was successful in getting an image, and it would then appear in the film strip above. I would then click on the Transfer button and nothing. It was as if it did not recognize the mouse click. In some cases, I have been able to grab a few images, then it locks up. I have tried using the button on top of the slide lamp to snap the image, and after pushing the button, the live image moves down, then up again but the image is not captured. I've uninstalled the software, re installed it, re booted the computer, it will then work for a few slides, then lock up again. Any help or ideas would be most appreciated. Thanks, Clyde
