Musaji Ahmed Hariff, Your device has two slots located on the top of the unit. The larger slot supports CompactFlash Type II cards. The smaller slot supports Secure Digital (SD) memory cards, Secure Digital I/O (SDIO) cards, and the MultiMediaCard (MMC). All three memory card types are available in sizes from 64 MB to 1 GB or 2 GB. CompactFlash Cards Your device supports CompactFlash Type II cards. Some common types of cards include: • Modem - Connect a telephone line for modem data communication. • Wireless communication - Data communication without the use of cable connections. You can use cards, such as internal cards with Bluetooth wireless technology and 802.11b wireless LAN. • Storage - Save data or install programs on a storage card You can click the link below to download the online manual for the Axim51v http://dell.to/1WKDE1W Thank You, Dell-Jesse L Dell Social Media and Communities

Make sure you're using a supported memory card. See the table below for specifications:
Memory Card TypeMaximum Capacity
CompactFlash Card
(Type I and Type II--3.3V only)
8GB
Microdrive (3.3V only)
4GB
SD (Secure Digital)
2GB
MultiMediaCard
1GB
If you connect a compatible CompactFlash (CF) adapter that can read 8GB memory cards, you can also use the memory cards listed below (with a capacity up to 8GB):
The official oprating systems of the HX4700, WM2003 and WM5, do not support SDHC card format. Since most 4Gb "SD" cards are in SDHC format (check the label on your card), the file format of your card is likely to be incompatible with the PDA. Get a 2Gb SD card, or go for a Compactflash card for 4Gb to 32Gb of storage space.
No, it's not possible, it'll never read SDHC in the SD slot. SD slot will only read SD, Mini SD (with adaptor) and Micro SD (with Adaptor). If there's no SDHC card slot, then it doesn't support SDHC Card. The lists of supported memory card are listed below:
CompactFlash™ Type I and II,
Secure Digital/MultiMediaCard/Secure MultiMediaCard (SD),
xD-Picture Card,
Sony Memory Stick®,
MagicGate Memory Stick,
Memory Stick Duo,
Memory Stick Pro
I hope this clears your doubt.
Note: SDHC and SD are different Memory Card types.
Have you tried using an SD card? The hx2000 is supposed to support SD cards and CompactFlash Type II memory cards. If it doesn't respond, it's possible that your second-hand device simply has a faulty card slot.
