Xantrex Technology Heart Freedom 30 Inverter/Charger, 3000w 130a, 81-3011-12 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
My SW 3000 Invert/Charger works fine at the dock
I have the same problem but on an intermittent basis. The first time it happened the tech suggested resetting the default settings and it came on immediately. However the problem has been reoccuring from time to time and I now have no confidence in my one month old unit.

I just replaced the remote
I dont think there is a setup feature..
1.) ensure the inverter is getting power from the ac, use a multimeter to check this.
2.) check Fuse
3.) check its in the propper operating perimeter (voltage amps, etc)
Check the unit itself is getting power,..

There is no ac output coming from the Freedom 25 inverter.
Assuming it was working correctly at some time in the recent past (i.e. not a new installation and/or changed wiring), the "Invert" light is off on the panel and will not come on when you press the button, battery voltage is between 10V and 15V and you don't have a bad battery/cell that pulls the entire bank down the instant the charging voltage is removed, and the unit is well-ventilated and not in thermal overload, the problem is most likely an internal failure which will necessitate taking the unit to a factory authorized service center, since Xantrex does not sell parts or schematics to the general public.

Rv2012 Inverts but dosnt charge
I have the same problem with my Freedom Marine 25. Assuming it worked previously and you have checked all the obvious things (generator/shore power breaker contacts, etc.), the Xantrex tech says it is likely a small 1/4 amp slow blow fuse on the AC sensing card inside the box, but that the AC transformer may have shorted to cause the fuse to blow. The internal arrangement may be different but remove the cover screws and locate the 2"x2" transformer on the AC sensing card for signs of arcing or charring. If you have a meter, check the transformer coils and if it reads significantly less than ~ 130 ohms, that is likely your problem, which will require taking the unit to an Xantrex authorized service center, since Xantrex does not provide parts or schematics to the general public.

I have a #20 charger inverter on my sailboat. It
Without more information, it could be a number of things. For starters, you might try disconnecting the ground wire to see if that makes any difference. The Xantrex Owner's/Installation Manual says specifically not to connect the inverter's negative *battery cable* to the vessel ground, but if the unit's housing and the negative cable share a common ground somewhere inside the unit, that would be the same thing. The T-105s are great batteries, but since they are 6V, make sure you rewired them correctly, i.e. a pair in series (12V) wired in parallel with the other pair for 450 AH total. Recheck all your battery connections and make sure you didn't blow the inline battery fuse in case you inadvertently made a momentary wrong connection during the new battery installation.

Inverter will not switch to invert when the ac
I am assuming that no fault lights are showing on the remote panel, but if they are, then those indicate a problem, e.g. overtemp, or AC overload. If the former, allow the unit to cool down and/or provide more ventilation, and if the latter, reduce the AC load by turning things off. The inverter must be in "standby" mode (green inverter light slowly flashing) for the inverter function to come on automatically when the incoming AC is shut off. Also, the battery bank voltage must be between 10V and 15V for a 12V system, the inline battery fuse must not be blown, and the unit's pop-up breaker (on the right front of the box) must not be tripped.

I have a Heart Freedom
Very strange, intermittent problems like these can be a nightmare to diagnose. So even though the battery is full it is still kicking off on it's own? That tells me there is something internally failing as it should only turn off when the battery has completely drained, AND the power source has been cut... that's kind of the point of the battery... How old is this unit, do you think it's still under warranty? If so I would definitely claim it under warranty and get a replacement...

Wiring Freedom 20 inverter
make sure your new inverter is made for 220 volt supply as that is what the red wire represents. its the other leg of a 220 circuit and should not be connected to your new inverter until you read the manual to see if it is designed for this and if so how to wire it in. it could cause you are the unit serious harm if you connect a 110 inverter to a 220 circuit. consult an rv repair shop or a good electrition if you cant find the needed info. it may actually be printed on the side of the inverter as well.

I just bought a new boat and need to buy a boat
Never buy a trailer with the same capacity as the weight of your boat! This can be very dangerous! Instead, make sure the trailer's capacity is at least twice that of the weight of the boat, all your gear, and the boat's motor.

What is the size of a small yacht?
Small yachts, also known as Silboats or Cabin
Cruisers are 20-40 feet. There are of course larger Yachts that can get to over
100 feet, also known as Mega Yachts.
