My Freedom 20 Inverter / Charger has Green,White,Black pigtails for the AV out and the AV in section, but coming from my RV is a 4 wire pigtail with Red, Black, White, Green. What goes to what?
Make sure your new inverter is made for 220 volt supply as that is what the red wire represents. its the other leg of a 220 circuit and should not be connected to your new inverter until you read the manual to see if it is designed for this and if so how to wire it in. it could cause you are the unit serious harm if you connect a 110 inverter to a 220 circuit. consult an rv repair shop or a good electrition if you cant find the needed info. it may actually be printed on the side of the inverter as well.
check with [email protected] for more info as they dont mention the red lead in the installation manual on line. i didnt mean to imply your rv had 220 volt system but a second supply lead red in color suggested this. like maybe it was modified possibly. europe uses 220 for just about everything but i have never seen it in a us rv.

Ahhh... no. I don't think the supply is 220. The only wire with voltage is the Red wire (which is 110v). The other wires have no voltage.
